Wednesday was more of the same from El Sol school, and UNIFE the university we have been visiting. Today there was an speech translation where students from Northeastern talked about various activities and the UNIFE students translated to Spanish, and so forth. Afterwards there was a lecture on Colonial Peru. The way the Creoles, Spanish people born in Peru, separated from their mother country, Spain, is very similar to the American story between the States and England. Afterwards there was a large game of volleyball with students from both schools. I am beginning to work on a five minute lecture about the emergence of Creole Culture, in Spanish, to be presented early next week.
